In the end, it really doesn't matter what we think "NSFW" should constitute. It depends on where you work and what type of sites your work monitors for.

When I worked for Detroit Edison, any entertainment type of site would get pinged and you would get wrote up for it. Certain things would get you fired on the spot (racist website, for example). I got wrote up once for accessing recipe web sites while looking for a good salsa recipe for like a half an hour on my lunch. They did not care. Personal internet use was strictly forbidden at any time.
