For the Non Prince Fans on the org How many of you are not really Prince fans but are on the org?

Just a question no offense intended, but why would someone who isn't a Prince fan join a site dedicated to him or about him???

I think theres alot of people whos fanaticism has evolved into a hatred and harsh criticism of Prince.
Not that Prince hasn't given many people a reason to hate him numerous times with screwed up business ventures, delayed albums, sub-par music, etc. But just as Prince is entitled to do whatever he wants, his fans are entitled to an opinion of it. I have to think nowdays, if I owned a record label and Prince was signed to it, I too would start laying the smackdown on his flakiness, kinda like WB did towards the end of their contract. Its a love/hate thing with me. Prince set standards for himself in the 80s that he hasn't either wanted to or been able to reach in the past and current decade. He still shows genius at his concerts, but for some confusing reason, none of it is apparent on his CDs. As much as I can't stand The Rainbow Children, the ONA tour was one of the best I've seen. | |

I hadn't been a fan for a long time, until I saw Prince in concert more than a year ago. Amazing!! So I thought I'd check him out again. The Rainbow Children album brought me back for at least a good long while. | |
