it doesn't take much thought for ppl to come to these conclusions, keithyT, but the open shut case of Mani usurping Mayte does bear a little consideration of sorts.

If little manuella was in the picture early on, then a lot more things begin to make sense as the missing pieces of this puzzle begin to come together, like the arguement between Prince and Mayte in the New York night club that night.

No wonder Mayte told Prince off, and refused to leave with him.

Probably Mani could care less about Mayte"s ghost She and the JWs apparently have Prince wrapped around their little finger. She got him to marry her and she even got him to move to her home town.and she's probably going to move him further away from the music the people and Friday night parties are probably a thing of the past.

So why would she be worried about Mayte? She knows she will never be back and Prince has to be a good JW now.

She knew what she was getting into before she got into it, you know what I mean? I think Prince got rid of a lot of that stuff probably, unless she's one of those woman who accepts being with a man, although they know someone else is there soulmate. But I never really heard of a woman tolerating that...have you?

If Prince and Mani stay together for keeps, I'm sure he's going to do a lot of more nice, beautiful things for the real one, for his new found love. And who's to say the love is the same, any different, or more? Think about it, if he did all that for Mayte and they broke up, imagine the things he'd do for the one who's really there to stay. I don't think it's all out of him, and all poured onto Mayte, although what he's done for her seems overwhelming (some of that stuff poured onto me and I love it!) But I'm sure Prince can figure something else out (ofcourse) if that's the case.

Once again, who on earth really knows what's going on between them. Only they know.

I have never met Prince, Mani or Mayte, but here is my 2 cents worth. By now, we all know that Prince met Mani while he was still married to Mayte. I do not believe that Mani turned him into a JW. I believe that is Larry's doing. If you listen closely to TRC, the story of Prince and Mani is right there in the lyrics. I believe that after the death of his child with Mayte and his on going interest in JW, Mayte had enough and got out. I do not believe that Mani broke them up. Even if P was screwing around with Mani, I do not believe she is the cause of his divorce. I firmly believe all his JW crap is what split him and Mayte. Because Mani is from Toronto, they spend a lot of time here and there is nothing wrong with that. TO is a great city! I do feel a little sorry for Mani because Prince wrote so many beautiful songs with Mayte in mind. Take a look at the 3 chains of gold video. He was so in love with Mayte and he blew it with infidelity & JW crap. I'm sure there is no sign of Mayte at the park anymore and I'm sure it's hard for Prince and Mani to see any videos etc, but life goes on and if they are truely in love, their relationship will endure.
