I think the whole system is just plain stupid. It would make more sense to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and only revoke or limit their priviledges when they abuse them.
To have a system on a forum which actually discourages people to post a lot makes no sense. | |

No. You need to ask to have your account upgraded to "prolific member". The default settings are 50 replies per day. That makes no sense. That's putting the emphasis on quantity instead of quality. I say give everyone unlimited replies and put a cap on those who violate the rules, spam etc etc. I'd rather see 100 on topic, interesting/funny posts by a user than 50 thread jacking moronic ones.
