The Org Should Have A "Merge" Function... For the mods only, of course...lol
But instead of locking multiple threads about the same topic (say, the Space Shuttle), you could merge the threads into one, and have all the posts aready created listed under one thread...that way nobody misses my witty banter and amazingly logical analysis on the locked threads when they go to the "official" Sticky thread...

a working search function would bypass a lot of the demand for this. if people could look up if the topic's already got a thread.....  "I don't need your forgiveness, cos I've been saved by Jesus, so fuck you." | |
