No one posts there anymore because it became the Religion forum. And unless you want to waste your time debating creationists, there really is no purpose in entering that forum anymore.

That's why , imo it shouldn't be a seperated forum

I'm glad that it's a seperate forum. I'd hate for the GD to get bogged down with all that religious stuff.

no, i've just always been alternately amused, baffled and befuddled that there are people who come to this site only to talk about politics. there are some people, when you look at their profiles, that don't post in any other forum. myself, i don't post in the Prince forum much, sticking mainly to the Music: Non-Prince forum. which some might find strange. however, as this is a musician-dedicated site, and just about every single thing that ever can be said about Prince HAS been said on it about 500 times in the last 9 years, it seems a more natural fit. but to come to this site to discuss politics and religion? surely there are better places on the internet to do that. but perhaps that's the problem: these people would be eaten alive on a site that was dedicated to those subjects, so they stay here where they can appear to be thoughtful, expert talking heads fighting for this cause or that, or blowing off steam over the outrage of the week without getting their asses handed to them by people who actually know what they're talking about on a site dedicated to politics and religion.
