I've just realized next year will be 25th Prince career anniversary. (1978-2003). Is he supposed to do something besides the Celebration?. Maybe a remastered 8 CD hits with B-Sides and outtakes? Maybe a webcam striptease for the NPGMC ladies? Maybe the never seen home videos with Vanity, Appolonnia and Carmen Electra? Or the infamous table-tennis match with Jacko in DVD? | |

22 years for me AND I went to my first concert
2 years ago. can you believe that!?!?! LOL I live in a fairly small town in Kansas and never could afford the travel or concert ticket money etc. Anyway, finally getting to a good "point" in my life... I made it to the "Hit and Run" concert in K.C. last year. I wasn't a club member yet so I sat in the nose bleed section, but oh man what an experience! Do you all remember your first concert? Then this year, I was a club member and got to go to the "One Night Alone" concert in KC. By chance my friend and I went early to see if there were many people in line. There were, and they were taking names as people walked up (I am so greatful to the guy doing this). We got number 21 and 22. I couldn't believe it. We were going to get front row! I think I freaked people out while we were waiting to get in because I couldn't stop giggling and shaking! ha! Once inside, and as I sat at the end of the front row, I kept pinching myself, I honestly always believed this one dream would never come true, but after all these years it did. wow it really did... sorry if i bored anyone to death. Ha! I just wanted to share one of my (few) experiences as a fan  .

20 years now...Seems like just yesterday I was checking out the *record* store to find out who this Prince guy was, and bringing home a copy of Controversy because 1999 was sold out! I was hooked from that moment on! | |
