Not that it's mine to sell, but... are you asking about selling just the prince.org domain name, or the entire website (e.g., domain name, content, and software)?
Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position.

This is a very condensed version of an interesting related story:

A long time ago, someone tried to get a price out of me for the domain name. I told them I didn't want to sell it, but they were persistent, so finally I said $1million. They came back with "and that includes all the user information?" and I said of course not!

Then, I got a series of emails and letters from a company in the UK (it turns out, related to the above emails), claiming to work for Prince, claiming they were going to sue me if I didn't turn over the domain to them within 30 days. I said go ahead and sue me, but I wasn't going to speak to them until they produced a copy of the contract (or something else verifiable) that showed they, indeed, legally represented Prince.

I never heard anything further from them!

I don't think there's a huge monetary value to the org, but certainly it has a lot of value to myself and many of you, visitors to the site. What dollar figure that is, to each of us, is different, (and maybe $0 to many...) but socially, I think it's pretty valuable.

Well, to be honest, that was then, and this is now... for a million bucks I'd probably sell it now!
