COVID-19: Precautions and Visitor Guidelines - Paisley Park

https://www.paisleypark.com/covid-19-precautions-guidelines?fbclid=IwAR14hz_WX-QBmg8CHnCoX4wpQ7x5QVaiZn-tqrezL3GLK2qUSEZN81RtKBQ

Paisley Park is open and we look forward to your visit! Please review our guidelines before you arrive, which have been developed based on state of Minnesota Health Guidelines, local health regulations, and in accordance with best practices in the museum and themed attractions industries.

It is important to Paisley Park that all guests, regardless of vaccination status, feel safe during their visit. For this reason, all Paisley Park staff, contractors, and vendors are required to wear masks. We highly recommend tour guests wear masks as well, regardless of vaccination status. For all non-tour-related events at Paisley Park, beginning August 28th, 2021, we will require proof of a full series of Covid-19 vaccination, or proof of a negative Covid-19 test taken in the prior 72 hours. Masks will also be required for events. Additionally, Paisley Park maintains enhanced cleaning procedures. Thank you for helping make Paisley Park a safe and welcome space for all.

Health and Safety Procedures

Paisley Park has implemented numerous health and safety protocols to protect our guests and staff:

  • An increased daily frequency of cleaning and sanitization throughout the building, including all surfaces that guests come into contact with on a regular basis.

  • A deep cleaning of the entire facility every Wednesday.

  • Paisley Park staff are strongly encouraged to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

  • Paisley Park staff, vendors, and contractors are required to wear a mask or other approved covering over their mouth and nose at all times while inside the building. The CDC recommends masks that have two or more layers of washable, breathable fabric and fit snugly against the sides of your face. Masks are recommended for all visitors.

Tour Experience Adjustments

  • To reduce surface contact a “no touch” admission process has been instituted at Paisley Park.

  • Our outdoor patio is open for guests, allowing for additional social distancing.

  • Hand sanitizing stations have been added for your use at any time throughout experience.

  • Public restrooms have contactless door opening and closing capabilities.

  • We encourage guests to wash hands frequently, to avoid touching your face, and practice good respiratory etiquette like sneezing into your elbow rather than into the air.

Additional Visitor Guidelines

  • No outside food or drinks may be brought inside Paisley Park.

  • No weapons are allowed on Paisley Park property.

  • Personal bags, purses and backpacks are subject to search.

  • Mobile telephones, smartwatches, and cameras will be collected and safely stored in sanitized containers.

NYC Small Venues have been doing this since day one of reopening anything. You have your ticket they scan that then you show your vaccination card or scan on your phone and you are in. Its stated before you buy tickets that there is NO REFUND for you not understanding this.

No surprise there, it's the right thing to do.

The thread title is extremely misleading.

Unvaccinated people can still go to Paisley Park, they simply have to show proof of a negative COVID test. Though frankly, taking a test 72 hours out is too big a window. Someone who's been exposed could absolutely go from negative to positive in a 3-day swing. And since vaccinated people can also get COVID (though it's less likely), they could also be positive when they walk through the doors of PP.

I don't know who came up with the policy, but it's nonsensical. And I am not saying that with any axe to grind. I've been fully vaccinated since April 3.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
