Its usually as described. The Town Hall will be a presentation from Spike Lee and the book's co-author with a performance by NPG and special guests.

.

I'd assume there will be drinks, dancing, crying, people in their purple wear, a seance, environmental records, fishnets, and colorful people whose hair on one side is swept back. Its good for the soul. I went to a Morris Day & The Time/Sheila E. show a few months ago too. I really enjoy going to the Princess tribute shows too, as long as the band is tight and the music is bumpin' its all good.

This one ended up as a party with a panel discussion in the middle. NPG with B.Slade, Mackenzie were amazing. Some of the photos they put up on the big screen made it apparent to me that someone had a thing for Prince wearing very revealing undergarments. lol At the funniest, almost inappropriate moments there he was all wide open.

.

My favorite part of the evening was the surprise Second Line-esque procession to Dance.Music.Sex.Romance it was unbelievably funky especially when NPG joined in to bring it all together. The discussions were enlightening and entertaining in all, if not a bit long.

.

Thank u to the promoters and all who worked to put this event together. fallinluv
