I'm so proud of Mpls for continuing to honor him...seeing it on TV got me choked up, but driving thru the city a few min ago and seeing all the buildings etc bathed in purple made me ugly cry! I'm glad to see that people on here seem to be mostly OK with the tribute, from what I can see.
I've had to stop looking at Twitter, because the amount of fake rage and people trying to be more outraged than the next person in a kind of 'I'm such a massive fan!' type thing is too much.
It was a brief tribute, which I liked and it could have been far worse. | |

This was funny! . Shiela E tweeted that Prince specifically told her to never let anyone make a hologram of him. And Sheila E apparently let a bitch know, because she later tweeted that there will be no Prince hologram. I never cared for Justin, after he made fun of Prince and his height, at that award show, and I also think that he did Janet Jackson wrong, letting her take all the heat from that Super Bowl performance they both had a hand in....that was just wrong, and Justin was wrong for letting Janet take all the backlash. | |
