It's better than nothing. And the letter says they're trying to get additional temporary permits. Plus ticket holders will be honored at a later date.

You got that right. I still think the best way to deal with the situation immediately is to let the already scheduled and paid for tours go ahead and suspend any future sales and tours until this mess gets ironed out with all relevant parties concerned.

I've visited Paisley Park many times, and I've never spent a dime in Chanhassen. Have you been there? It's a bedroom suburb where Prince happened to build Paisley Park. For example, I don't believe there's even a single rental car office in Chanhassen.

A mid-size rental car will have approximately a 400-mile range per tank of gas - and will be fully fueled when you pick it up. Assuming the pick-up point is the airport in Bloomington, you can get to Chanhassen and back several times without buying a drop of gas.
