Will you be in town Saturday, 15th? I am flying from Ohio; I dove in head first, tickets or no tickets. Will have a rental and am happy to share the ride to Hard Rock with you. I'm thinking of doing the 'drive by the important P places' Saturday and Bunkers at night. Hard Rock could fit in it there! Staying w a friend; this is not her thing. I'm new to the org, hope this post works!

Yes I will be in town on the 15th! I check out that day of my accommodations BUT am going to go to Bunkers and HOPE to snag a ticket for that nights event! A tour of Princey things would be AMAZING! Let's do it! To be honest I had no idea how I was going to fit all that in. This is a wonderful idea We can rock out to Prince tunes along the way I was kinda thinking since nothing else seems to be shakin' on Friday night that that would make a great slot for dinner at Hard Rock Cafe - thoughts? Hell, I don't mind going twice - we don't have a Hard Rock Cafe in Vancouver anymore - the teeny one we did have was in a AWFUL area and eventually closed down Then a few years ago - they brought Hard Rock Casino/Hotel... and I was SURE they were bringing back the restaurant with it...but NO Craziness!

Their is a light rain system that connects the mall, airport, and downtown. Im planing on staying near the mall myself

Oh perfect! We definitely need to arrange a Fam Hard Rock meet up. I am tentatively aiming for Friday night - UNLESS something Prince related is announced for that night - then I will aim for Saturday. Has to happen

Yup, me too. Phone'll be going off every 15 minutes. So far everything lines up except that timing between my PP tour and the 2nd movie feature is tight. Uber!! I haven't checked back in on @PRNfamily yet, but I suppose they'll have some info out soon.

Don't forget that that even though it says 1pm, the movie is actually not starting until closer to 1:30/1:40 - doors are at 1pm but the first movie isn't until 1:30. Hope that gives you a little wiggle room. Or can always join for intermissin/raffles and the 2nd film of that event - if traffic gets in your way - will keep an eye out for that @PRNfamily one. Hope they announce whatever it is soon so we can organize our lives - aka our very important trips to MN where we all intend to jam pack the purple stuffing out of it

Thursday - the morning/afternoon OPEN - hoping for a First Avenue tour or such - Thursday Night the Tribute Concert Event - How many people are interested in meeting somewhere pre-event IN St. Paul for a bit of a social/mixer? There are a handful of places right across the street or super close. Like a pub or whatnaught.

Friday - PR/GB double feature matinee - Friday night potentially Hard Rock Cafe IF an event with Prince music doesn't open up soon (perhaps that's the muse thing?!

Saturday Check out; Maybe a brunch get together with fams? Then zipping to Bunkers to snag a ticket (or bunkers b4 brunch, whatever is best). Then hopefully tour Princey things. We need to start a Page on a Forum asking who is going, how long they going for, where they are staying, what their plans might be, and how are they traveling. Wednesday for me is looking like Dance Party get in late, Thursday Mall and concert, Friday PP tour and other Prince things, leave Saturday Driving from Oklahoma staying probably near mall. I can use hotwire and get a room for about $60 a night with tax.

Here's what I have plotted out for myself. I will have a rental camry, with 3, maybe 4, seats open (depending on my host friend joining me). I won't leave the rental lot until I test the speakers for total clarity on the p 'blast' option!

Wed: landing in time to just make it to the movies.

Thurs: electric fetus and any other reckastows I can find. Concert - I got tickets! Definitely would like to meet for happy hour/social time near venue before the concert. Why not, life is short.

Fri: Hopefully that First Ave tour at 10 or noon that Jay Noonan was organizing. Movies in the afternoon, and maybe the PRN dance party at night.

Sat: People's Organic for p pancakes, drive tour of all things prince: 3 houses, Schmidt's music 'wall', Capri, murals. Get tickets for Bunkers hopefully early, Maybe Hard Rock, then Bunkers at night. Exhausted just typing it.

oops forgot. yes, doing the PP tour the following Monday morning. I used to live on Lyndale. So spending a luxurious week in my old town.

Depending on Cost I would love to go Wednesday and Friday. However I have a feeling and I don't know why but I have a feeling tickets are going to be expensive for this.

I will be there Late Tuesday October 11 till Saturday Oct 15. I am planning a pilgramage seeing all things Prince. I tour Paisley Park on The 14th, and Of course the tribute concert on the 13th. But I'm lookign to meet up with any and all Purple Fams. I will be staying less than 1 mile from Paisley Park. So keep me in the loop

I can't do Wednesday, it's the UTCM/SOTT double feature which will go to almost Midnight And definitely can't swing buying two tickets for this dance party, no matter the cost Funds are too tight - but it would be pretty amazing to attend more than one!

According to ticketmaster there are still a few left - definitely likely single seats, but definitely an option to snag one still
