On that same notion, does any MPLS fam know about shuttles to and from Mall of America? I am googling it and checking the mall website but it's very generic stating a list of shuttles that seem to go from the airports to and from. Hoping there is a connection to and from downtown to shave off the time from an hour+ to 20mins+ like the time states.

Will you be in town Saturday, 15th? I am flying from Ohio; I dove in head first, tickets or no tickets. Will have a rental and am happy to share the ride to Hard Rock with you. I'm thinking of doing the 'drive by the important P places' Saturday and Bunkers at night. Hard Rock could fit in it there! Staying w a friend; this is not her thing. I'm new to the org, hope this post works!

Heard family might plan a few other events that week.....wondering what to do Friday night (if nothing comes up??) I was thinking Bunkers or 1st Ave but they both have random bands playing that night?

This is my dilemma as well. I'm not impressed with them just dangling 'might bes' around at this time. There's under a month to go - people NEED time to plan this stuff out! I HOPE they do something like a Friday night Paisley Park Dance the night away to Prince music...?! But if not, I'd be happy if SOMEONE is spinning Prince tunes somewhere Friday night.

Yep Doing both. Don't know when I'll be back up there, so I'm getting as much in as possible. Hope the family can organize conventions after this, though.

Our flight home will be leaving eaerly on Sat, so we won't be able to do Bunker's. But, I'm interested in getting a ride to the movies or anywhere else as a matter of fact. I'm sure we'll be using a lot of taxi service while we're in town. We're flying in on 10/10 and staying in Bloomington the first couple nights, then moving to downtown on 10/12. It would be nice to keep in touch. Thanks for the offer.

Lake Minnetonka is quite large and it's shores and numerous bays border a few communities in the western suburbs of mpls. I wish I could direct you to a good section of it that's easily accessible for you to visit. But a Google search would probably be better as all the winding roads amongst the various communities make directions complicated. And I don't spend time on or around lake minnetonka. There are so many lakes here with several nearer to where I live.
