i need to buy swimtrunks though. living in nyc, you really have little use for them.

I'm debating yet whether or not to bring a suit. I haven't been in a swim suit in public in YEARS. It's actually dangerous for me, so I'd need a lot of shade readily available. And it's probably dangerous for everyone else, considering I'd blind you all with my fair skin. We'll see...

One thing is certain, if I DO decide to join ya'll at the pool, there will be positively NO photos taken of me there.

PS - I've been picking out my outfits as well and plan to do a bit more shopping this evening.

Is anyone looking into renting a car?

I will be, and that will fit about 4 or 5 folks, but depending on the number of folks that show up, we may need one or two more.

The vehicle is only really needed on Saturday due to the Venetian Pool and Calle Ocho.

Dan and I are trying to figure stuff out. OK, Dan is, I'm just supervising.

I'm willing to rent a car for Saturday if it's needed, but I really dislike driving. So if someone else doesn't mind, I'm willing to pitch in money towards a car for the day too.

We're also trying to check just how difficult it will be to pick up a car and do all our stuff and bring it back in one day or if cabs, while maybe a bit pricier, may offer the convenience necessary...
