Hey all U nasty girls, rude boys, true funk soldiers, sexy MFs, and purple hippies! It's the 20th Anniversary of Prince's album and film "Sign O The Times"! The next Purplelectricity will be a special celebration of this anniversary, and takes place on Saturday, May 26th. It's also the 3rd birthday party of Purplelectricity and its 13th installment. Special live performance by Chris Rouse & The AROUSAL, a band that's currently being played on FLOW 93.5 Toronto and that does killer rare Prince covers. Just confirmed: a whole new batch of the SOTT DVD from Alliance Atlantis as giveaways!
Drake Hotel is notorious 4 huge line-ups on Saturdays... Tips 2 get in faster: Get there early (party starts at 9 pm with hiNRG music and 1st set by live band starts within the 1st hour). Ignore the huge line in front of the Drake. Proceed 2 the doorpeople. Tell them that U're there 4 the "Prince Party", and they'll send U down provided we're not already at capacity.
