Today, I went to Calle Ocho with Carrie, sosgemini, cborgman, and Dex.

All I can say about that is Dex gets free shit. Not just pussy--but free things like pricy cigars and stuff. That's all I'm sayin'


Then Carie and Cborgman went to the beach with me and we got all wet

Rest assured, Aksel, we've hung with Dex most of the whole time. He managed to score a ticket to the de la Hoya/Mayweather fight tonight though, so we won't be meeting up with him this evening till later.

I just got back to my bedroom an hour ago. I'm on my work laptop through VPN becuase my damned computer CPU fan dies

I rush ordered the new CPU fan just 10 min ago, but it may take 2 or 3 days to get to me. I'll be able to post the pictures at that time, as my work VPN blocks me from uploading things to photobucket, myspace or my own damned webspace.



Here is my take on each of the people I met:


Carrie: A doll. Cute and Sexy, quiet and shy. But get her ass in a gay bar and she becomes a complete animal. AN ANIMAL!!! She was sweet the entire time, and really surprised me how she can vascilate between polite restraint and unbridled bad-assery.

Nicolas (sosgemini): My god, this man surprised me to the most. He is extremely charismatic, and like Carrie exudes a certain sexiness through his personality. His humor is absolutely infectious. I'm a fan.

Dex: Dex is everything people told me he was. He exudes charisma without even having to talk. When we met him at Todd Oldam's rooftop bar (The Spire), he definately proved himself to be everything I imagined. Dex doesn't ooze sexy--hes a WMD of it god damnit!

Cborgman : Those pictures he left me What a sweet, handsome, intelligent, man! Like Carrie and Nicolas he Chris speaks sexy through many different conduits. I loved his stories during dinner at Bed. I'm a fan.



I really didn't look at this as an invasion (kind of new what was going on late Thursday night with the guestlist ), but as a chance to meetup with some very very wonderful folks. And though I am tired, sunburned, blistered, and dehydrated from having drank more alchohol than water the last couple of days, I'm very glad to have met these folks.

I laughed until my face hurt this morning

We more or less experienced that vibe at BED Miami.

Becuase it was just Carrie, Nicolas, Chris and I the last night, we ended up going to Twist South Beach (gay club), and that was great fun. Actually, for some folks, a bit too much fun.

Thanks, you. I can't tell you how much fun I had and I sincerely thank you for all your work putting it together, buying me dinner and the most laughing-est breakfast I've ever had and numerous drinks (though, I'm not completely sure I should thank you for that ). Your generosity and kindness did not go unnnoticed.

I had SUCH a good time. Honestly. But I'll say more later. I'm in the hotel lobby of the Kent waiting for it to be time to head to the airport. And I'm still sooooo tired.

Oh dear god, I've been so focused on my own pain and fatigue I forgot to ask if anyone has heard from Dex since Saturday evening?

I know he went to see the fight and I'm not sure where he was going afterwords.

i had a fabulous time, and can't thank all of you enough for it. pretty much all day yesterday and most of today has been spent wishing we were still in miami hanging out.

i adore all of you, and getting to meet each of you (excluding nicky who i had already met, but hanging out with ya again was faboo!) was an absolute pleasure.
