So yesterday I had 3 plays of Internal Innuendo and this was my chart status:



I decided to try something. I played all of my tracks at home, both hifi and lofi... and I did the same thing at work. I figured that would give me at least 4 plays on each song and I wanted to see what happened in the chart if I did that. Well this morning I was shocked!!!

60 plays!!! The only time I've been over 60 is when I first put my page up.

So for the past few days, I've been playing all my tracks twice at home and at work if I can. Just to see what happens. What I'm doing now is clicking on the band radio option and just letting all the tracks play while I get ready for work. I do hifi and lofi. Yesterday, this would have given me 2 plays for each track, since I didn't go to work.

What I'm finding really interesting is that all these songs are getting plays, and they haven't been getting plays for a while. Like the songs at the bottom of the list, Naked and Belong, these have had zero plays all month. Now they get 6 when I play them twice. Very interesting. Do you have that soundclick mp3 player by any chance? I think all plays will count twice when played with the soundclick mp3 player. We're then still 2 plays short of an explanation but hey

One thing I thought was that once you're in the top 100 you'll get more play because people might be playing the chart radio. Other than that I have no idea.
