Thought I'd share; Just finished mixing my EP, fucking 30 hours for 20 minutes of music. I don't know if that is alot or a little....but I guess you could here a good mix among the noise that is my band. It was cool though, had a really good mixer/engineer assisting us. He really took the bull by the horns. He does sound for Fantomas, and the Melvins. So, he had a nice ear for our brand of noisey art rock/pop.
We'll see. Now got to master it....

I Love it, U have a great thing coming, I wish I could hear more of what your saying, but besides that, I love it. it has such a heavy sound, the drums are very alive.

I'll be recording withj a friend soon who has some great equipment, so i'll have some good quality stuff soon too man.

Keep the tracks coming, cause we will deffinatly listen to them.

Mixing one song could take even days or weeks. the average (if it's not a huge production) is between 4-8 hours. 4 is the minimum to get acceptable results.
It's actually best to go through a mix in two days, finishing it in the first day, then taking it home to have a listen on several stereos, then on the next day make all the nessesary corrections.

Yeah, its under re-construction so that we could have the newly mixed versions up...the other versions were just crappy sounding pre-mixes off pro-tools. It will be up soon...Thanks for looking though
