Kevlar

Man both of those are very cool.

Another Revolution is right up my alley. Love that riff, and the nice changes. This is just a thought, but by no means do I mean that the tune does not kick by itself as is. . But I would love to hear the verse in a falsetto voice, over that main riff it could sound so cool. I only gave it one listen but it seemed that on the chorus that some of the harmonies are just a tad off, I listenned very quiet as it is 8:00 am so I could just be hearing odd right now. The Track just kicks though!!

So Wonderful is just so tasty all around. Really nice track with great vocal placement. You have so much range, it is great to hear all the flavors you come up with.... You work at Baskin Robbins at some point? smile

Hey Kevlar!

First off, Thanx for listening! smile
I recorded "Another Revolution" Thursday and I've some polishing to do with it
I think I'm gonna be tinkering with this one for a while.....

And thanx for the shout on "So Wonderful" ---I was seriously gonna scrap this tune but my engineer told me he'd chop off a piece of my anatomy if I did--and seeing as though I'm quite accustomed to all parts of my body, well there you go.....lol

peace

Jshua, what's up dog? Like Randy of American Idol says. I did not feel these the way I can feel the others. "So Wonderful" did not flow as smoothly through its' transitions. Also, more keyboards would be nice. Try some pad sounds to fill up the gaps and connect the dots so to speak. Strings are always a plus on ballads. "Another Revolution" was good but the vocal lacked emotion. Spread out the space between recording each song to get into the vibe of each cut. As usual great writing though. Keep up the excellent work. cool

Hey Bro!

Thanx for the shout man....
I'm still tinkering with the arrangement on So Wonderful (and yes strings are gonna be on it--its just bare bones right now)

and I'm gonna re-vamp the voices on Another Revolution...

I listened 2 "So Wonderful" cuz I'm in a mellow slo jam season (im planning a 30 minute CD with 5 tracks segues between rain and ocean sounds...).

This is nice. It has the Prince flava 2 it. Where's the old crackin' record man? yes . It was cool man. I think i may take a listen 2 the other one now.
Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

Hey PP4!

A thousand thank you's Bro!

I've been going back and forth with what to do with this one because I have a string arrangement for it and speaking of which.....A cracklin' record? that's a great idea!

hmmmmm hmmm

1. Another Revolution: this sounds like that ol' T-Rex song (isn't that one called Revolution too?), a little Lenny Kravitz, some early Steely Dan mixed with some of that tasty "Jshua chili sauce". I love the guitar work on this one!

2. So Wonderful: I really like this one, I love slow jams and this is a solid slow jam!

PS: Hey Jshua, when are we gonna brew some funk together?
RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

I've got something brewing and I'm gonna send it your way in just a few days---It's been really hectic for me these past couple of weeks
