Anybody know Intro to Irresistible Bitch? Anybody know the intro chords to Irresistible Bitch as played on Prince and the Revolution Live? I am pretty sure that it is Wendy playing the main lick although it has been a while since I watched the video.
Thanks. | |

Thanks. I'm guessing that it's a 7th minor chord - slide up a fret INTO the key, and then, slide up a fret at the end of the pattern. I've faked it a hundred times like that. The Last Otan Track: www.funkmusician.com/what.mp3

AS a MATTER OF FACT...
http://www.funkmusician.c...&Itemid=27 All examples are built around the Gminor7 chord. I think the one that sounds the most like it will be the "KISS" example (I labelled it as a Gm6 but I'm pretty sure it's a Gm7 - but, move the pinky down so the top three frets go diagonally (I play chords visually - lame, I know). Like THIS: _|_|O _|O|_ O|_|_ X R X Now, the thing to remember tho, is that the ROOT note (or key of the song) is going to be where the R is... the FIFTH string. Don't play that note - I just put it in there to show you where this mess goes. Listening back to the song, I think you slide up to the position at the very beginning (meaning, start off with this chord but you're one fret lower than you SHOULD be, and then slide up to the correct location on the one). Play the ditty, and at the very end, just add your pinky, one fret above the top string: _|_|_|O _|O|_ O|_|_ X R X I haven't actually TRIED THIS out on a guitar yet, to be sure that it matches the actual recording - this is what I play when I play it live. Hey otan, thanks for the licks. I am not that great of a player so I appreciate it anytime someone who knows their stuff passes some my way. You should post more guitar instruction type stuff on this musician's forum. I think there are a lot of people like me that know a little but not a lot about playing. Thanks again.

I dont understan this tab/chord box? has its structure been distorted from how u actually wrote it? or is it just me? You do as I say

Go look at the drawing on this page: http://www.funkmusician.c...&Itemid=27 - the second to last example - that's the chord. Gm6? I have no clue what it's called. The Last Otan Track: www.funkmusician.com/what.mp3
