Sticking with the musical themes as of lately...

Original Artist: cbabi bayoc http://bayocstudio.com/
Name: "Serenading the Street"

This year marked the 10th annual festival here in south florida. Here are some other shots:

As always, it was a great weekend under the sun.

I wish I could pull that out of my rear like bayoc.
HE's the REAL artist.

alas, I am but a craftsman.
Big difference, imo.

Thanks for the props, I must have got it pretty close then.

yep, he takes after his mother, ya know.
He only resembles me when he's in really bad mood.

Vina, I didn't even notice that little dimple in our foreheads before!
Maybe that's chalk?

I bet the boy is going crazy wanting to run into the art and help... you must have gone crazy trying to keep him entertained, with all that artwork going on.

Awesome work! Beautiful kid too.

Kinda reminds me of the Rainbow Children cover art, was that intentional?

It wasn't too much of a problem. My wife only came by for about an hour both days. I let him smear the bottom right corner a bit. He liked that!

When we walked around at the end of the last day, he was secured in his stroller. He just pointed at everything going, Wow, wow, wow!

It was priceless. I'll have to bring out the scrap chalk that I didn't use and funk up the driveway one weekend. His mother will have a fit cleaning him up!

The original artist is cbabi bayoc. He also did the rainbow children cover.
He does a lot of great musician themed work that can be viewed here: http://bayocstudio.com/

Ouch!
That stinks.
I always try to take pictures of everything these days. I have a lot of work out there from the past, that I have no copies of. The streetpainting festival HAS to be a laybor of love. Don't bother getting attached to anything you do there, it all gets destroyed with the first rain. (or when they open the street back up to the public!)

BTW, it's usually the incoherent mothers and their baby strollers that ride over your work. There's walkways on both sides of the street where you can clearly see each production. Some people like to criss-cross back and forth like the crazy tourists they are. You should have seen my wife's grandmother yelling at people when they got too close!

Them NYC Itallians make good art-guards.
