it was said that i took a cd of the newfunkorder to Paisley Park. well before for that spreads like wild fire, i want it to be known that it wasn't a cd of the NewFunkOrder that was delivered to the park. what i stated was, delivered was the message of NEWFUNKORDER to the park. the Message being Freedom... Which is The FirstBorn of the NewFunkOrder.
Like i said eariler The NewFunkOrder is the Father, members of the NewFunkOrder is the Bride(mother) and project 1 is the love making and concieving between the Father and the Mother. The Message is the Off Spring. In this case the message is Freedom. Freedom is something that is being taken away from us as residents of this planet at an alarming rate by forces that are not in our control every day. Freedom is what we, as a NewFunkOrder community, are fighting for, OUR FirstBorn. The Freedom to express ourself freely as we are, without the restraints of control of outside enties (in example RIAA, forgive me if the abr. is wrong but u get the point) . Delivered was our will and determination to be free in this case through music and the celebration of our right to be free.
When i went to the park it was not my intention to deliver a cd, becasue the cd is available on the download for free, but to deliver OUR FREEDOM. OUR FIRSTBORN.
Im sure that the "mid wives" probably didn't understand what was being delivered but instead some dude showing up at there doors taking about a group of people who have gotten together from all around the world. ect. ect. ect These mid wives were VERY KIND AND VERY GENEROUS with there the time that they provide. And i do hope that i didn't get anyone in trouble for being there... Remember Paisley Park is a very private place and only welcome "visitors" on an invatation only basis. We were not invited to be there, but we were given a prescious moment to state OUR claim. Just like said in advertisments for "Emansipation" "Freedom is a beautiful thing". We the NEWFUNKORDER have given birth to it, OUR FirstBorn, we exercise it simply by EXISTING in a world where Others Freedom is taken away, and we share it with everyone who is on the download. thousand and thousand of people who have visited our domain have Experience Freedom and hopefully in doing so they take that freedom and plant it in the soils of there gardens and allow it to grow with them.

I haven't heard from NFO/Tim for a few days. The dowloads are still steady, about 30 downloads a day for each track I think. The totals for the Top 10 downloads by Kbytes for January so far are:

Its cool u all want to Free the music, but what is it really.
A record company is not going to spend all kinds of money so they can give free music away.
Some ppl want to do music all the time, and in order to do that, they have to sell it.

Its cool ur into the free the music, butur either in the game or not.
The music industry is the game, u play it, u become famous, which doesn't happen if u try to do everything without money.
So let ppl who want to sell it do there thing, more power to them. just don't bash them.

You can still do ur soundclick thing.

The freedom I think about when it comes to the New Funk Order is the freedom to record and release music I like. Record companies are controlling and they don't like to allow real art to lead the way. They want to sign people they can control, make into the image they feel will sell and hire their own producers and songwriters so the artist has to pay them to use their songwriters and producers.

Also, music fans & listeners are not free because radio and MTV is controlled by money. If an artist can't pay a TON of money to get played on corporate radio or MTV they will not be there. From what I've heard the amount of money that is exchanged is pretty disgusting. Someone once said that radio is just a trick to get you to listen to commericals. Don't all stations go to commercial at the same time? Hmmm. Music listeners are not free to hear a more diverse amount of music, unless they look for it. There are lots of independent places to find new music, we are just another one.
