New tune on Soundclick - it's different! I wanted to try to record a tune using the following instruments: Ukulele, flutophone, and kazoo. I threw in some acoustic guitars capoed at various places on the fretboard, also. It's called 'ukesinspace.' Check it out (it's short) and let me know what you all think. Thanks!

yes it is quite different. Good job at getting them (instruments) to all work together. You probably could have put a playful vocal in there as well. kewl

PP4, I've been trying to listen to your tune about three different days so far with no luck. Last night I tried about ten times! I'll try again later today again...

yeah, this is some really different stuff...
I dig! I could see this as like an interlude and suddenly someone picks this up and wants to put it in a commercial... I like the combination Jshua

This almost has a celtic or bluegrass feel. Very interesting combination of instruments. Vocals would be cool. I totally imagined a campfire sing-a-long, I just got a vision of summer camp or something.

So anyway... back to your song. What ever possessed you to write a song with ukulele, flutophone, and kazoo? I looked up flutophones and they look like toys! It must have been challenging, yet fun, to do that.
When I used to sing back up for my friend he had me bang 2 of these together: It would make a cool, chime/ ringing sound.

I was screwing around with my uke after watching a bit of the Concert for George DVD that I just got for Xmas. I got the flutophone from an elementary school that I worked at and I've always kind of used the kazoo as a cute little toy in my acoustic act. If you listen to George's Brainwashed CD he's got a lot of ukes in it. He loved to just sit in his garden and play his ukes. Cool, huh?
