Original Sin Beautiful! I love how minimal this is. I've been working on Flutter and I think I have to thin it out a bit. You've inspired me. I love this track, it's so sexy.

The Greatest of These is Love. Your voice is beautiful! You kinda remind me of George Michael and someone else I can't think of right now. I clicked on the lyrics and saw this:
A mellow jazz song, inspired by God, and musically, I was wanting to do a Sinatra/Connick type song. Vina Blue's "Nothing Matters" was a musical inspiration on this also.

Jason! OMG! touched I don't know what to say! rose I guess I better get to workin on that shit so people know what you're talking about!

One more time J, I bow to your endless creativity...

"Original Sin" has a "Joy n Repetition/Moments in Love" by Art of Noise/Sly flow. Orchestrated where we can dig where the words are coming from and going to.I see u are in an experimental mode right about now. Keep on stretching your horizons.

New Funk general - The beat is serious. As with the message. I love ur lines. U always have something that sticks with me when i hear ur serious songs. "when balances and checks aint checking". Woah. The cows have funk. Ur right... We need 2 hit up these farmers. U r so silly.

Original Sin -
A sly and sweet cut. I'm not gonna compare it 2 How were u feelin at the time while writing / construction of this song? Sounds as if u are still searchin 4 a tru love within the cre8tor of u. Although I dont agree with some of the lyrics it is still a warm and positive lighting in the song 2 listen 2.

I wrote this song during the same blue period that I went through when I wrote "U Lied" and "Scarlet Letter". I finished recording it after that period, which is reflected in the more positive ending and the music. I was still in touch with God, but I was really mourning a short troubled time in my marriage. There is a message to be learned here in this song, which is to realize that mankind alone cannot bring perfection.

Peace,
JD
