What are your Soundclick Stats?

I was just wondering if anyone else checks their soundclick stats everyday like me. Its interesting to see how many people listen and how many people download your tracks.

When I put my tracks up on Nov 29th, Naked was at #3 on the Electronica-Mellow chart and it stayed in the top 10 til about 12/13. Now it's like #16 and slowly dropping down. I'm not promoting these much since they are demos. Lots of really professional sounding stuff on those charts so I'm just happy to be on there as well.

If you don't know how to access your stats, click on band administration on the top right hand corner of your screen when you log in to soundclick. You can also access the charts postitions there.

Post your results!

Well, since I'm not a premium member, only one of my songs gets to be listed, because I don't have any songs outside of their hip-hop/r&b genres, which includes funk, funky r&b, gospel, etc. My tribute of "SITWDNC" was at #100 out of 1500 songs the other day. But, "Pose" was charting top 20 every day until SITWDNC. Since the R&B genre has many more artists than the funk genre, I am pretty happy to be at #100! Vina, you are great, and your songs deserve to be up at the top!

Peace,
JD

Luckily, I chose a somewhat obscure category. wink My track went from 200 to 600 on the Electronica chart...

It's all good though.

You also get more points if someone downloads your track, so since SITW isn't for download, then it will chart less.

Phunckibitch:
· #380 in the Jazz charts
· #64 in the Jazz:Jazz Fusion subgenres charts

Let Me Show You:
· #5492 in the HipHop charts
· #39 in the HipHop:Soul subgenres charts

I dont really promote my soundclick page much via the main site though, I just use the soundclick page to get some more traffic to the main site

Ha. "That Booty" - my vocoder experiment - is #11 in funk. Must just be cuz of all the clicks from here.

If you think about it - most of those artists are non-paying members (I know I am) so the charts are totally wrong... if everyone paid, then ALL the songs would chart, so, someone that has say, #2 song might also have the #8 and #13 songs, but since there's only one song tracking, the #8 and #13 spots are open and other songs fill in the spots.

Dunno if that makes sense. It's STILL awesome that your songs are doing so well - just saying, there MUST be a ton of songs slipping under the radar.

Paid artists get more points as well, because their tracks can be "promo song of the day" or whatever. Still, it's cool to be at least in the top 20 somewhere to get some exposure.

Don't forget to mention your #1 hit otan! How long did that stay up there?

biggrin That's why I brought it up! Let us know how you're doing on the charts!

Entropy just replaced Naked for me in the charts. Naked was like #16 and now Entropy is #11! It's interesting to watch. This is really exciting because Entropy is one of my newest tracks, and represents me more right now. It's cut short too, but I guess people are digging it. I better finish that song! lol.

I didn't even promote this one, I just put it up.
