I dont' think I could ever not create. It's like eating or breathing, it's something you HAVE to do! Sometimes I'll be trying to go to sleep and I get a lyrical idea in my head and I try my best to ignore it, but in the end, I grunt, get up and write it down because it just wont' leave me alone. if you're talking about not being able to create because of a physical ailment or something like that...hmm...I guess if I still really wanted to create I would find a way to do so.

For me...as a painter
If I couldn not paint anymore, I probably would die. It's what keeps me sane. At first I thought of it as occupational therapy...but it's so much more than that. I am driven by it. It IS what keeps me alive. I feed on creativity as I'm sure we all do. Whether it be blank air space waiting for sound or a blank canvas waiting for light and shadow, some of us NEED this dimension to survive.
