Do you have other creative outlets?

Besides music, is there anything else?

I enjoy photograhpy and writing poetry (pretty much the same as lyrics I guess). I used to take dance in college: Jazz, Ballet, Modern (my fave) and African. I also studied photograhpy in college. I enjoyed art classes in high school, but I never went further with it. I do have one assignment that I'm pretty proud of. I have to take a pic of it and scan it in...

I wish I could design websites better than I can. I appreciate and admire anything creative.

I do photography of downtown jackson.. and present them in coffee shops as a hobby.. its a fun thing to do, because I take digital photographs add things or change things about the picture that I desire.. example: Clouds, colors, black and white.. and they actually have done very well everywhere I take them. Im actually trying to get this local magazine to recognize this picture that is pretty popular everywhere I take it, and maybe put an article about me. so hopefully that will work out.
I also play piano by ear, and actually can pretty much play anything because of that.

What a cool idea! How much do you sell them for?

I've thought of starting a greeting card business with my photographs.

Hahaha.

At first, I thought you wrote, "I do photography of Downtown Jackson"... picturing Downtown Julie Brown's grandfather...

I gotta lay off the caffeine.

I do websites. I'm so deep into putting this funkmusician.com thing together, it's insane. I know nothing's changed since the day I posted it, but I'm doing it all in the background right now. It's a hairy mess, but when it's done.

And, I raise children. That's some damn creativity if I ever saw it. One just turned 16. The other recently turned 1.

I usually sell prints of 8 by 11 in large frames for around $120.. thats the most popular size I sell

I have 3 or 4 in 11by 14 inch prints but they sell for over 200/300 depending on what frame size its in..

I try to bring back the look of how Jackson was a long time ago.. things have changed downtown, not many people are down there, and a lot of places have moved off.. I try to bring back the original feel of how it once looked.

One of my popular pictures is a photograph of a Greyhound Bus Station.. its a very retro looking building with neat looking lights outlining the sign.. Of course, its not the bus station anymore.. its an interior design building but they kept the origonal look of the station, so I took a picture in black and white leaving the bus station in its beautiful baby blue color, and it is the most popular picture I sell.. Its almost my signature piece

I think u should persue ure greeting card idea, thats a very nice idea. smile

If you have the pic up on the web already, then all you have to do is get the address of it, (right click and hit properties), then you type

without spaces and that should work.

I'll have to check out that vid when I get home, I bet it's precious. As for raising children, I give MAD props to people who have kids and are doing a good job with them. I don't have any, and I probably never will. Personal choice. My sister has 3 and I don't know HOW she does it. I can bearly feed and dress myself every morning...

I like kids for like, a half an hour... lol j/k

My neices are great, I have fun with them.

Cool? It was off the hook. You guys really know how to party there.. notice that I can't even remember the exact dates. It was total Studio 54 (smaller of course). The owners parted ways and The Groove was closed after only being open a few years.
I always came for pumpkin and I did one NYE party
