He's an all time GREAT! I loved learning about him more on the Motown MUSICIANS DVD! The "Funk Brothers" are/were GREAT! :+) They seemed like nice and cool people to work with too. Ahhh... maybe I was born in the wrong decade!!! hehe

I presume U are referring to the "Standing In The Shadows Of Motown" documentary? A MUST-SEE for any1 who was down with the Motown sound. Chaka Khan does a mind-blowing version of "What's Going On" too... I nearly got up in the theatre and started dancin'! I wish I were writing and recording music between 1971-1976 - Stevie Wonder recorded all his best albums (IMHO) in this period, Marvin Gaye recorded "What's Going On", Earth, Wind & Fire and Parliament/Funkadelic were tearing shit up respectively, Jaco Pastorius and Weather Report were alive and well, Herbie Hancock and Patrice Rushen were light years away from "Rockit" AND "To Each His Own" respectively... need I go on? No Sampler Required... Ryrie & Vogel have 3 more years before they release that revolutionary invention... 'dre Tried many flavours - but sooner or later, always go back to the Purple Kool-aid!

Great DVD, I've watched every feature on there at least 3 times! hehe There's also a documentary on Stax Records that I want to see. It features Sam Moore(I met him, he's VERY cool and can still sing with soul that pretty much nobody alive today can!)
