I have 4 electric guitars and 2 acoustic. I don't have a fav really. I love my SG, my strats, my custom equally. As far as acoustic I need to buy a new one. I still haven't decided what to go with. all I know is that I want an electric acoustic cutaway. I want to spend around $350-$500. I want to get the most for my $ though so I might buy used or a "blem" from Musicians Friend (or are they? hehe) Any suggestions are welcome.

Anyway, back on subject... do you have a favorite guitar that you own or want to own? I would like to add a Flying V to my collection and a Gibson ES335. I also have always wanted a Tele and a Gretsch. I am not too fond of the headstocks on Jackson guitars. Not a huge fan of Ibanez either except for maybe their George Benson model. :+) Take care everybody!

As far as the acoustics go, check out Samick Guitars. They have a new line of instruments that are really great and won't kill your wallet. Electrics too!

I love the Fender telecaster so much that I own two (Sunburst and blue flower) and STILL I can't walk past a store where they sell them.I'll happily watch the wordt music videos imaginable as long as there's a tele in them!

I agree H. I used to be all over the Strat for the Hendrix and SRV tones, and would play the tele occasionally (over the years, I've had a Tokai, Squire and Mexi-Tele) and then earlier this year I bought a real Telecaster and it's my main guitar now.

I'm also a Tele guy. All my favorite guitarists/artists played/play one. Muddy Waters, Lou Reed, Keith Richards, & Prince.

I have a American one, and 2 mexican ones. One of the mex ones is tricked out. I love that twang, man.

I've got to get a Tele with a maple fret board.

I've never even played one but I know from the Org.

I have an Amstd Strat, a mex strat, a L.P. classic 1960 reissue, a L.P. artist, and an ibanez artstar full. I am dying to own a tele. Maybe after I get my new car I'll start buying axes again. But then i'm trying to finish my studio. So little money, so much gear.

I've got both. The rosewood sounds dark and bluesy and pretty strat-like on the neck pick-up. The maple one is bright and percussive and has lots of funky 'quack' in the middle position and a nice 'hollow'tone w/ distortion...
