Using a talk box

OK, answering another topic reminded me that I have a Banshee Talk Box that I haven't used in awhile. Can anybody maybe explain how to shape your mouth to make various word sounds? I tried but I do the "T" and "S" sounds and any of the harder letters or words. Any suggestions or techniques to use would be helpful... thanks in advance. If you know any cool FX with a Talk Box, please let me know too. TAKE CARE!

P.S. I met this guy one time who uses one and told me how he used to know Roger(From Zapp and Roger) and stuff...uhh... maybe I'll just save that story for later. :+)

Don't save that story! Out with it!

I've been pretty curious but I've made my mind up that I need a VoCoder (connected to keys) or take instructions off of the internet to build one for the guitar.

I'll put the story up soon, it's nothing major really. I'm just too lazy to type it up right now. hehe Regarding my talk box, it drives me crazy sometimes trying to form words or make certain sounds with a my talk box. I thought about a vocoder but I kinda felt like I might have some versatility with the talk box. Oh well, I've had it for about 6 months now but never really tried it out. I want to use it for recording though.

My friend bought that cheap Dan Electro with a tube attached to a pedal and it just sucked.

I could've taken that $120 and spent it on ANYTHING and it would have been better spent.
