Hey all,

Im taking a two week holiday in Italy, weather is surprizingly colder than england! Traditional music out here is fantastic & Ive bought my practise sheet music for grade 8 drum kit, the highest grade (see cloud9 never sleeps lol)

Just thought Id say hello to ya'll and let you know that I'll be absent from discussion for a while. Man theres some crazy characters on this italian keyboard... àòèpèì lol

Im staying in serrento, near naples. The wine here is great, I dont even like the red stuff normally lol. Theres lots of great inspiring sights here, Im going a little crazy without my guitars, drums & studio & stuff but Im gonna use this time to do something I should have done in the first place - start writting some lyrics. I have the vocal chords of a seagull so I probebly wont be singing on my tracks but at least lyrics is the first step towards completing my arrangments.

Theres always been two things missing from my sound, live drums & vocals as all tracks were recorded with both in mind. Good news is that the drums are now possible & my little sis is gonna lay down some vocals - shes a little white aretha franklin & I didnt even know it. Keep it in the family as they say.

Albums almost complete at home but Im gonna delay it some more to make these additions

Im gonna take my grade 8 examination on drums at the beggining of next year. Been practising with my drum pad. Its not so much what they want you to do but more the speeds they expect you to play it . My drum teacher is back to good health (thank the lord) & I will be going back to lessons as soon as Im back from italy to finish my drumming studies.

Dont know how Im gonna go two weeks without my instruments lol
