Anyone recommend the Nord Electro? Anyone got experience of the Nord Electro? Some review I read a while back was really raving about it, but there were concerns about the Acoustic Piano sounds, but there's probably been an update since then. But I am SO tempted by an all in one Vintage keyboard set-up. How progammable are the sounds? If this ain't the one to go for which is?
So fed up with taking my Fender Rhodes and Clavinet etc out to gigs, it's just too much for my back! [This message was edited Wed Oct 8 17:38:59 PDT 2003 by infinitetrio] ------------------------------------------------

My live set-up these days is Nord Electro & the Nordlead 2.
The Nord Electro is the best keyboard I´ve heard 2combine all the different pianos/clavinet & hammond organ.Of course not as good as the real thing but the best I´ve heard so far in coming close. Especially the organ is truly impressive. The clavinet U can easily set your own settings 2 make it sound really dirty if U like & the effects like the phaser, flanger, reverb & the tremolo sounds really good 2. Often the clavinet sound gets 2 slick compared 2 the real thing but the electro comes real close. My favourite tho´is the electric grand piano & U can get that classic Prince souns of the Yamaha CP-70.Especially if U turn on the reverb alot so the sound gets a bit phased. It gave me the chills when first hearing that!! 4 mo´info check out www.clavia.se /peace Manki [This message was edited Thu Oct 9 15:56:19 PDT 2003 by manki] | |
