I recorded this tonight attempting to be experimental. I was going for medieval music and trying to fuse it with funk. I literally had knights in shining armours and damsels in distress in my head. But I think my inner Prince took over and the result became Royal Shit.

Thanks cloud 9 and Vina . That sax solo is actually Branford Marsalis. I "borrowed" it from the Do The Right Thing Original Motion Picture Score. I've always loved it and wanted to incorporate it into something of mine.

Soul Ballad 4. I really dig the piano chords on this. Very nice. This totally reminds me of Prince. Very smooth.

It amazes me how many crackers are funky: Funkaholic, Manki, JDODSON... Otan and BigThing are funky too.

I'm Mexican, so I don't know where I fit in. I like beans, but my boyfriend is a cracker.

It's all about the honky principle.
Elvis + Mick Jagger + K.C. + Robert Palmer = Honky Fonk.

Unfortunately, I also took in too much George Carlin, so the funk comes with a heavy dose of smartass.

Royal Shit kinda reminds me of the opening track to Plantation Lullabies. Nice vibe.
