Great site!
This cat has his stuff together.

My favorite is "Rewind"

Was there a different version of this song a while back?

"Rewind" is an awesome track! Love the jazz mix. This stuck in my head all day when I first heard it a while back.

"I like to please" is pretty catchy

"Subconscious Mind" not sure about that one yet. I'll have to listen to that one a few times.

"Blue Machine" - different

"Bathe" is sweet! ::: groovey :::

"Confession" has some great synth sounds in there.

"Insane" is pretty insane! I like that one too.

"One Regret" very experimental

"The Voice" Don't get me wrong, you have a great voice, but it sounds out of place on this song for some reason, with this song, in my opinion, would fit better with a woman's voice or alternating between yourself and woman. That's the only one I'd hit the skip button. Great guitar solo though! is that you?

"Rewind" would be perfect as the last track. Again, that's my opinion and I have no authority on this sort of stuff at all.

Awesome stuff. I like your voice and the vibe you are conveying.

Some of the stuff reminds me of Beck but with more soul.

You've started a non-profit record label too? Wow, you are living it.

NFO, I really appreciate these comments. Yea, the guitar is me, and RHODES is always cool. I actually play/sing everything on there, so i'm excited about the CD.

Red, thanks for the props on the site. I dig it too.

groovement, thanks for making me laugh.

Rewind! Oh Hell yeah, this song is very nice! Im enjoyin this Linn drum funny funky beat. The vocal arrangement is complex and goes along with the beat perfektly! This is very very cool! I wish i had it!

I Like 2 Please - this one is aiight. i prolly give it a 6 outta 10.

Subcouncious Mind - This is cool! Sounds like a remix 4 "Rewind" Ur use of the Linn Drum sound is very nice! The weird synth and electronica is cool! The vocal arrangement is just as complex as the beat!!! What the funk is goin on in ur mind!? lol!

Blue Machine - Im really diggin ur album so far, the jams just keep on comin!

Bathe is cool. Gotta give it up 2ya. Ur head is spaced out on this track. U hav a way of showin what's really goin on in utr head! Ring a ding ding, can i come inside?

Insane. Damn boy. U got preeblems (problems that cant be solved) Ur beats are outta mind. How do u think of this? How do u arranhe something with such complexity?

I really want 2 buy ur album man. I never heard nothing like these songs b4. It is very Princey but u still got ur own taste 2 everything, much more differnet and exciting than alot that ive heard these days.

Yea, check out Marymount Records. I was the Executive Producer on that project last year. It's cool cuz all the money goes to two really worthwhile charitable causes.

Seriously, Thanks! Means a lot. Hope you get a chance to pick up a copy of the CD. I think you'll really dig it coming through a real sound system. I'd love to have my CD in the hands of someone who appreciates the work.

Bathe - Reminds me of Dorothy Parker a bit. But you got your way with it.

Insane - You got the Camille voice happening. LOVE the beat. Mad sexy.

The Voice - This reminds me of The Family.

Confession - 80's funky r&b. Cool.

I Like to Please - Yeah, this sounds like Beck. Wish this sample lasted longer... biggrin

Subconscious Mind - Probably my favorite track. I like the weird stuff. mr.green I dig it.

One Regret - I dig the spacey keyboard sounds. And the guitar.

Very cool stuff man! I think I just might have to buy that cd. Check out my stuff, I'd really like to know what you think of it. I'm looking for a producer... batting eyes

this might seem funny 2 u but I think u and Julian of Julian's Ride should hook up and collaborate...u both seem 2 b on similar channels... your stuff is very unique...as a keyboardist I will add that it (the album) is a little too keyboardy, even for me ,but that's the only negative comment 2 be made.Overall ,good work.

The overall sound of your music sounds like a cross between Duran Duran, a bit of Prince and the Pink Panther theme. Just not my cup of tea, although I appreciate the effort. A lot of you cats need to stop emulating and impersonating, take your pictures off of the covers and websites and get in touch with your soul, hence the term, "soul music". Let the music speak for itself. Get Fonkay. Too many of your are trying to promote an image instead of making good music.

Don't apologize for your opinions - you're dead on with whatever you think. I agree with you on some of it - but funk carries a huge amount of imagery - P-Funk, EWF, Gap Band, Commodores - without the image, a lot of bands can fade into one another, so, especially in this day of online promotion, getting your face out there IS as critical as getting in touch with the soul of your music.

But all the artists up in this joint will benefit from anyone's input. Thank you for being blunt and throwing it out there without holding back.

Hey man, I appreciate you even just taking a listen. Even if it ain't your thing. I'm completely on the same page with getting in touch with the "soul" music thing. I'm glad you bring that point up. Gotta sell records though too, and having an image (unfortunately at times) is part of the commercialism of music. But I'm with ya...again thanks for taking the time to sample the tracks.

You did a great job - very professional, and I think you did a fantastic job with the website - the songs came up with no delay whatsoever and it all just looks fabulous - and the price is right. I'm going to send this link to my band for an example of what we should be doing!

I would've expected a much more alternative jangly rock sound, judging by the cover. Or a soulish white guy sound, or maybe Clay Aiken. Just kidding! But you've got a look the chicks will dig, so that's cool.

The songs are really good, I probably would've eaten it up about 15 years ago when I liked funk. I'm not so much into that type of sound now, but you've got a sound dialed in. But you should be aware that you sound so much like Prince that you will never get away from the comparison, sounding this way. That's high praise for most people but like I said, I don't check the Prince shelf at the record store anymore, I'd much rather hear fresh-sounding music by people like Nick Alt.

I hope you do well - good luck.
