You should take out a lot of the voices, or organize them more, and emphasize the chorus part "Talk 2 Me" with some harmony, and make it stick out. That will create a great hook.
And that backround has a good hook, just seems off beat. did u use a arpeggiator? Maybe make that part more simple, i mean its great how it is, but just more band friendly.

I like that it changes completely at 2:45 talkin about "play my 80s stuff". That's great, it made me laugh.

The looped guitar is cool, the song concept is cool too. The vocal mix needs a little work but I can hear what you were trying to do with the harmonies. In my opinion, it sounded like you were singing a little mono-tone (sometimes even out-of key )with the verse but when you varied it, I heard more soul.

It sux that you lost all of the master files, if you need that guitar loop, I can help you. Org note me because this is a cool song and I'd hate to see it go to waste.
