New Funk Order artist showcase- ASIAM

Madonna once said "Rejection is an afrodisiac"

In this chapter of Jew's art, "Rejection leads to Untamed Human Emotions".

Part ONE: When I Look At U
Part TWO: Drive
Part FREE: UnTamed Human Emotions

Jew expresses more art out of his style and music than I have seen in a long time. Even when people said he was weird, I defended him. This guy does not emulate Prince. Yes, he does have certain ideas and bits of style that are similar to Prince, as we all do, but, you have to truly and openly look at his creations, and you will see, that he is very unique and very, very, creative. He does things with his art that I would do if I wasn't so scared to take artistic risks sometimes.

Jew is truly a great addition to the New Funk Order, and I can't wait to hear this new stuff. Love ya, man!
Also, go to www.newfunkorder.com to listen to Jew's "Burnin' Up" and watch the full length video.

he difintley has a vibe of people wanting 2 know who he is. I remember we were at the Xenophobia gathering b4 the show and people were saying he was unique and they liked his style. When i first saw him on 9th & Nicollet DT mpls, i saw him standing by a rock sculpture in dark glasses sittin back lookin coo. I said "that must b him lookin all secretive" but i was scared 2 say anything still.

He is really really beyond. His mindframe and his stamina and aura is very positive. He will make the best outta the worst things.

Slave2daGroove

It's nice to have JD as your A&R guy.

My 2 cents-

When I look at you - so dark and haunting. The MP3 breaks up a little at the beginning.

Drive - Could be a Living Color Song, its cool and New York somehow. I love the guitar tone and how sometimes it blends into the vocals.

Untamed Human Emotions - Nine Inch Nails comes to mind immediately, maybe it's the angst in the vocals. Love the rainbow children mention at the end.

I love this stuff. Great stuff FirstBornJew. The diversity from song to song really shows how talented you are. It's so diverse but then it is tied together (by your vocals?) by a vibe. In my opinion, it would make a great cd that you could listen to from beginning to end.

Thanks for sharing.

Hey Thanks to everyone who took part in this experience.

PaisleyPark4 i will always remember that experience, remember the walk back wink what i think is really cool is now u are doing your own thing and putting it up for everyone to enjoy. I still want to cover I WISH... to me thats such a beautiful song. wink

Slave2thegroove thank u for support and the kind words. if u want Burn IT, and enjoy this experience as often as u like. Drive represents NYC to the fullest in my opinion. Prince had Lady Cab Driver, Lenny had Mr. CabDriver. and when i recorded this song i felt that i had an experience up there with the likes of these 2 artist.

and 2 U Mr. President thank u for sticking by me through thick and thin. Your words will not go unappreciated.

The DownLoad Society is gearing up for season 2.

thanks again 2 everyone who has taken part in this experience.

NewFunkOrder get ready.
