bitrate is the quality setting of your mp3. re make your mp3 at a higher quality & it should work. Mind though not too high cos they dont accept them too high either, you gots to pay a membership to have best quality tracks

omfg You can't go higher than 96? I guess music match is the best way to go. I've not used it. I have Cakewalk and it goes higher than 96. What program are you using?

Another option is to create a yahoo briefcase. Kinda lame, but it works. When you get all hooked up with mp3.com, it still can take a long time to get your songs up.

Creating your own page is the best way to go, but that takes a little more time to learn. Check with your Internet Service Provider and see if they give you free webspace. If they do, they usually have easy webpage creating tutorials to get you started.

But yeah, musicmatch is probably the best way to go if you just need to change your track to 128 so you can upload it. I've never used it, but I am considering it because I have some mp3 downloads that I need to convert to wave files.

Good luck man! Learning this stuff can drive you crazy, but once you know it, you'll feel like such a stud! Then you'll hit a wall again! Ah, it never ends.
