NotFadingOut (Updated!)

http://www.bigthing.net/m...ingout.zip
My new track touched

--
Update
--

I added some more subtle percussion/hihat in the track, although not as radical as Otan suggested tease

furthermore i added some fx in the intro, changed the outro and remixed/mastered the whole track. Call me crazy but i consider it Finished!

I updated the audioplayer at my site to include the streaming version

Oh and the NFO/fading reference was on purpose horns, just thought it was funny

VERY cool. Like the tune. Very Art Of Noise ("WHo's Afraid of The?" era) to me... open, spacy, odd.

IF IT WERE ME, I'd throw some ass-grinding drums half way into it to take the drumming part up to the "next level" (I know - cliche'd phrase). But that would put a whole "UNH" thing into the song. But then, you'd lose the laid back groove to it.

Like THIS:
http://www.beauhall.com/N...gOut_2.mp3

check around 1:40. The drums don't have the impact I mean - but I didn't wanna overwhelm the rest of the stuff... and it's just a loop that goes for the whole song.

Wow - my first collaboration and it took me all of 3 minutes. Not that you're gonna WANT this thing - but I threw it together to show what I meant. ACID 4 kicks ass.

I love the song but I've never gotten into the art of noise.

Otan - To be honest, your addition didn't take anything away from the song but it sounded like it was "on top" of the rest of the song. Cool all the same.

aww, u gotta new baby! touched

anyway, thinkin that the trak is very good first of all, the thumpin beats 2 it with distorted elektricity followed by sum classic piano. But like Otan said u should make that THUMP the Big Thing. I was bangin my head 2 it, then it got kinda lost after a while.

Now im Downloading the remix and seeing what is gonna b the difference.

Big Thing man, keep wit in work!smile

Yeah, i was actually thinking the same thing, that is why i didn't put the song in my audioplayer yet. Beau is right with the beat part but the mix he did was kind of 'on top' indeed.

I will take the idea and post it later!

I am downloading it right now. I like how you named it NFO (lol). This is dope! I am loving the echo synth sound. This is another one of those "late at night" type of jams- sounds like a rollin' around downtown in a city at 2am.

Hiya Otan, could you tell me how big the complete ACID 4 program is? Does a little under 29Kb sound alright, including Manual and some wierd thing called 'keygen'? wink

I remember Reason being much bigger so I just wanna check!

NFO!?!?! I didn't even catch that! I did think it was kinda funny that we were talking about fading songs out so they could all fit on one cd...

Sounds like you have just the key generator for the program - which runs independent of the actual ACID program. I don't remember how big the actual program was... pretty big.
