Please check it out, tell me if there's more (or less) topics for the thing. I'm not trying to drive everybody over to that site (instead of this one) but, for all these NFO discussions - it's probably better to do the discusssions on there instead of NFO-jacking THIS site.

Edit - I added a section for the NFO members that's hidden from public view, to try to add some dignity to these ongoing "tastes great - less filling" debates...

Looks good Otan! I'm not sure about the New to the Flock forum either. If the board gets really active, I can see a need for it, so we don't miss anyone, but for now I don't know.

One thing about it though, it looks mainly geared toward us, and there should be a fan section, where people can drop by and say they dig our music. It's all trail and error really, it will evolve, I'm sure.

Did you get the smileys I uploaded to the ftp site?

Well I guess the New to the Flock forum is cool, Slave just posted on it!

I tried the nfo theme and it was too yellow for my eyes, so I switched back.

NFO is out of town for a few days, so any changes to the avatars, etc, will be made by him - I just have access to the admin part of the board.

Good point about the "new to the flock" stuff, etc. I'm thinking way way ahead, and it's not necessary at this point.

Like I said - this forum is still very valuable, and I don't wanna have to devote my life to TWO forums now - keeping up appearances on ONE forum wears a brother out! But for now, let's use that one to post NFO related updates... publicity, progress, etc.

I think. Hell, I don't know... I'm trying NOT to split us all off into a new site. I'm comfy here at the org, and in no way want to drive people over to a new site, so, whenever we want to address everybody, we gotta post twice, here and there... still trying to think this through.

Oh, and is there a private section for us?

Ok, I think the Recording and the New Songs/Projects are kinda the same thing. They will overlap. When we ask for feedback on our songs, we will get feedback on recording as well.

Maybe expand the instruments section to be Instruments & Equipment, which would included software as well?

But the projects/songs thing is different. I was thinking that the songs section would be JUST songs, the projects would be bands, collaborations (where you'd talk about them, and then post the actual song in the songs section) but again, between the 7 of us, maybe it's a little much.
