Cunase has their own beta software tho.

Cubase Logic Cakewalk Protools I myself use Cubase but theres plenty of info around on the other 3 for you to figure out which ones right for you. | |

Where can I get this fruity loops Ive heard its free?? It's not free. The trial version doesn't let you save/export anything. Go to www.fruityloops.com Yeah but you can always record the drumloop with your recorder an paste it into Cubase. Or download a complete version at Kazaa or WinMX... Not true! You CAN export your loops in the demo version. SO, if you have something like ACID, even the free version that only gives you 8 tracks per song, the two free programs, combined, can give you all you need to put together some really cool stuff.
