How come nobody likes my songs?

After looking at the top ten faves/downloads I realized something - nobody likes my track. sad Or perhaps it doesn't have the same vibe or sound as the favorites. Even when I ask for critiques of my songs on MP3.com I hardly get any response. If my songs could use something, by all means, I trust you guys to tell me. Believe me, I'm not offended at all. Not every song will be someone's cup o' tea, I realize this. In fact, I have many more songs, but MP3.com will only let me display 3 at a time. Is there a way that I could post my songs on a free web-page type of deal, like a geocities or something? I'm working on a much funkier sounding number for NFO2. So, please feel free to go to my MP3.com link and critique away - if you hate it, tell me! Dig it!

Always remember that people have opinions, but thats all they are, not facts. They cant help it if our tracks dont do it for em but it doesnt mean your music is bad either, just not their thing.

Hi Artist08!

I've been meaning to give you some feedback and now I feel bad. sad

I have to listen some more to your tracks, but your guitar sound totally reminds me of my friend Butterfly. We used to play coffeehouses together about 5 years ago. He had an Ovation guitar and he always had that nice, full, ringy sound. (See what happens when I try to talk about guitars? I sound like an idiot! nuts )

I haven't listened much to 1/2 the NFO cd yet, because I've been working on my stuff, and as you can tell from my sound, I lean more towards the electronic, keyboard music.

I would definitely put more music up if you have it. I think you can put it up on a geocities page. I've got mine up on my ATT webspace, that's my internet provider.

Keep doing your thing man! That's the most important part. Peace.

Agh man. Please don't feel that way. Your song is great. The instrumentation and structure is very well made and the vocals are very sensual. If you look at my list you can tell that I like my tracks a little more off the wall, and a bit funked out. (The tracks I chose are more black album and yours is a bit more Lovesexy) Your track is great but in a diferent way, I think it's more chilled than the others. But it's wicked, and as a tribute I'm playing it right now.

I don't crititque music at MP3.com. My only interaction with that site is to download people from the Org's music. I've not seen your posts here but I have listened so return the favor see link below

So here it is;

The Best Tonight - I loved the words and the inteligent lyrics. It's not my taste in music but I can really appreciate what it is.

The NRA Fight SOng - I loved the guitar hook and the whole song for that matter. Great production, voice and song structure. Very 70's T-Rexx, Bowie, Lou Reed vibe. I hear this in a future t.v. commercial because it's so cool.

Noble Savage - This song grew on me because of the tone on the keys combined with the effects on the guitar.

Overall, I like how diverse your stuff is, your consistent vocals and the quality of the recording. Great stuff conveying a vibe. That's what it's all about in my opinion.

Hey now - my list was more of a "people I can remember off the top of my head - ANYTHING to put together a list while people were humping any top-10 list on this site" thing. Sorry I didn't include you. I was just throwing a list together to get people's ??? up.

But by speaking up, you definitely knocked your song up into the top 10, busting that jackhole Otan off my list. Boy - his songs are crap anyhow.

Fellas,

Don't worry about this and don't think that Nobody likes your song(s) There are a ton of people out there who like or even love your song(s) that just don't have or take the time to tell U.

As long as you believe in your songs enough to put them out there. That is all that matters. There is something for everyone. Some people like songs and don't even know who the artist is.

So don't feel bad. Just keep puttin' out the jamz.

Don't be mad because of what you didn't get...Be glad for what you did get.

Peace

Hey, thanks, guys. I realize that not everyone digs some of the styles of music that I do, but I actually try to cover the spectrum. If I knew how to get a bunch of songs up on a free web page I would. (therefore, if you know - tell me!) Thanks again, guys!

artist09...hehehehe
