the room is quite and still. Sleep, Sleep, Sleep. No moe sleep.
I met a friend, it was like a dream. I was not in disquise, to be seen as i am. FREE
the world around us was in slow motion chioas. i remember this.
still sharing the same air, we became heirs. We inheirited a common bond.
just for awhile we were warriors.
Where am i? everything new. I have seen this place before and the faces of distant dreams are still just as beautiful, but do not hold my attention.
i can't help but still be in our dream. I tell myself wait wait wait Dreams are forever... dreams are forever.
suddenly Prince and Donna appear.
Donna holding the electric says to me "stick out your tongue" i do as i am told. "Do you trust me?" she ask. "Yes Donna" "close your eyes" I close my eyes. "say ahhhhh" ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! I can taste the electric.
without saying a word, it was mental. Prince spoke to me "what do eye smell like?" The SunGod.... I am on Fire now.

Hi there! I’m Maddie, the person who has been working on the feature post about the Albatross music video. My editor thinks the post can be strengthened by some additional details about you as an artist and your background. I completely understand that from what Jeff said part of this project is it’s mystery but I think just a few more clarifying details will make it easier for the audience to connect with your work. Here’s what’s been on my mind:
How long have you been making music? Do you consider yourself a multimedia artist?
Hi Maddie, thank you for taking the time to participate in the ALBATROSS video experience. We all worked really hard on it and truly appreciate the attention you have given it. It's an honor.
I have been making music for a while now, but took a break from it when I moved to Minneapolis, following my walk from New York to California, to pursue a formal education at the Art Institute, AI. After that experience I changed, but I did develop a love for that artistic expression while living in New York City.
Yes. I do consider myself, in part, a multimedia artist. I express myself through music, film making, photography and painting.
What’s your connection to Prince and his music?
without writing a book, I will simply answer DREAMS, for now.
What is the significance of the moniker “85918”? Do you use different artist names for different projects?
85918 *pronounced eight five nine eighteen is of the alphabetical order. A time code, if you will. Once you break the code
you will have a better understanding. 🙂 My name in short, is Jew DreamFirstBorn. Yes, I have used the different monikers yes.
85918 represents the musical side of my artistic journey.

We were quarantined for days while on location for a film called Way of The Warriors. One night, having tested negative, fighting the bored of isolation a few of us got together and made this. Thank you Adi, Amanda, Graham and the other Warriors for an experience I will never forget.

if you knew the whole true story behind the making of this short film, your mind would be blown. If it reveals to you 1/2 of what it revealed to me, making it.... then New Power Soul in effect. you should check it out simply because in the face of adversity, with our lives on the line, we did it. We created something; and that might mean nothing to many but for at least for this one, it was life changing.
