Is there TOO MUCH online fan analysis/podcasts etc. Don't get me wrong - our hardcore fan community is franky incredible. The analysis, effort, dedication & sheer vaults of knowledge is off the scale. Some of the interviews these super fams have got are incredible, prince band members/engineers etc old & new sharing their personal expereinces has been a real revelation. BUT I can't keep up...some podcasts last for hours, the analysis of individual songs is deeeep..there is so much good content! I have started to avoid it for now with a proviso that all I need to know was said through his music.
Where do you stand - do you listen to it all, do you have time or do you avoid at all costs!
Mods- since this IS very much Prince related can you keep it on this forum rather than one of the obscure ones please!

It's not like the quality is being diluted. Listen to the ones you like and forget about the ones you dont.

Prince was so prolific and enigmatic that one could spend a long time studying all of the possibilites. I like to look into the various podcasts when I have the time and inclination.

I disagree with you about the Purple Knights and I don't understand why you would complain about any specific podcast you never know who's reading reviews and who may need tips for improvement rather than criticism. That applies to everyone not just Trivial Pursuit. What the real issue is about Podcasts I think that people are listening but not hearing and sharing what they DO like about them. Every time I think of doing one I think I would rather be having a conversation with the people not a listening session. Critics always exist though it's just maybe they need to be more constructive but isn't that still criticism? Maybe you are right though people talk too much. Welcome to "the org", heartpeacesheart…

I always thought Peach and Black was boooop and I don't think I listened to it more than once because the podcasters told some booop beeeep story about being taken somewhere in a limousene after a show by some booop beeeep enterouge being told that they were basically forced to talk about the show they had just witnessed. Pardon my French but get the beeeeep outta here. How YOU doing?
While it might be true that all publicity is good publicity, who's publicizing who? The fact anyone have has had the gumption to produce the show at all is something to be talked about IMO. And now we're just talking about people who talk about people. There's a lot of code.... I could write.... but I already $$$KNOW$$$ my words are beautiful, thankuverymuch. I'm glad you believe for Prince fans Trivial. We're oh soooo helpless and alone you know. I'm glad you don't believe for Prince fans Trivial you're in good company. I never saw such good doing and maybe it's time to make another forum format site and call it "lines and columns dot org" since the new playground for the NPG doesn't receive enough grades or accolades. Sike! This forum IS where it's at so STAY tuned y'all! [Edited 12/14/20 7:33am] Welcome to "the org", heartpeacesheart…
