So....I tried to draw Prince (2 different styles) When I'm bored, I draw. This is the first time that I tried to draw Prince and I really thought twice if I should post this here, 'cause....I don't know I'm a little scared to be honest.
The first one: I tried to mix Prince with a anime character with a mohawk and pointy ears. I tried to find the original picture of that character so you get an idea what I used as inspiration to draw Prince like that, but I couldn't fit it yet, I try to find it so I can post it here.
The second one is just a normal picture, but I gotta say that the picture isn't finished. It does look a little different now than what you see here but I thought I post it anyway. This was still the early stage of the drawing and I tried to make a good picture with my phone, so I hope you recognize everything:
So....what do you think? It's my first try to draw Prince I hope I didn't fail completely at it | |

I hope not tho, there's nothing going on over there. Keep trying. The more you do it, the better you'll get until you don't draw because you're bored, but because you enjoy it. And the more you enjoy it, the more ideas you'll get. | |

They are both good for your first time. And yes they are recongizable. I like the 2nd picture. I use to draw, nothing proffesionaly. But I was good if I say so myself  I tried to do the cover of the "Prince Alter Ego Comic Book" then I collerd it with pencils. I didn't like how it came out. But I kept it my scrap book. when ever any one looked at it they knew it was Prince. I also drew The Hit & B-Side cover in pencil too. That drawing came out really good. Anywho. [Edited 10/29/18 15:23pm] When I moved about 3 years ago I trashed all my drawings I mean they sat around 10 years collecting dust. I never thought about taking snapshots of them. I am/was really good at drawing cartoon characters. Some I could draw by heart others I tried to duplicate pictures from books cartoons. Now I kind of regret not saving them :/ I will take my place, In the great below | |
