anybody know some good recording software with drumcomputer i´m looking for not too expensive music software, i´m just starting.
Would like record vocals and keys (USB) and need a drumcomputer. No loops or something (no Magix or that kind of stuff), but would like to make my own patterns. Would be great to have that in one program.
Searching the internet, but it doesn't get me any further.
Anybody any ideas?
Thanks! | |

OK, I have NO CLUE about this type of thing, but maybe you could try Ubuntu Studio? It's a Linux distro that I use that has tons of audio software installed with it, maybe that's what you need?
It's completely free, and you can download it, so that's a MASSIVE plus point over other softwares. I'm here and so is TD3, in case you run into hassles, say, partitioning your hard drive to make room for the new OS or something. (TD3, you are, aren't you? ) Just Google!

it´s pretty complicated, it will take some time to understand it, so don´t know yet

If you want to be serious about this, don't be afraid to invest some money in it. Buy it instead of that new iPhone that everyone just HAD to get. My Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/tundrah

Replica, as a huge Linux enthusiast, I wouldn't want to push him towards those. Here he'll just have to do some learning on his own, but that's nothing he wouldn't have to do there, either. This is software made by people who love to write software - please, do them the courtesy of just USING the damn thing!
I'm pretty sure Robert, that you can do all of those things with Ubuntu Studio - there's definitely a drum machine (Hydrogen) and a sampler (Sooper Looper) (not that I have the first clue about how to use them!). All your questions can go here - www.linuxmusicians.com . And not to mention of course, that you'll be saving a ton of $$$ by going Open Source!
Post here about your progress, I'm kind of curious as to how to use it myself! (specifically Pure Data). Good luck!
