ALL THESE YEARS...
I outlasted the good times And the bad Carried on past The happy and sad I'm still here And you are gone I hold the fortress down When the landlord Plays the clown Don't come to me When you haven't Been around Read the sign Left in the window "Leave Me The Hell Alone!" I can't seem To get away From you No matter What I do You are the magnet I am the force Pushing you away No longer the Attraction In my life My mind Stutters I should have Walked away So many Years ago-- Today, I'm gone.
