ive got a great new show on internet radio station village fm. every wednesday evening 8.00pm - 9.30pm (uk time) and its repeated every sunday evening 10.00pm - midnight (uk time). danny's blues selection..... on... www.villagefm.listen2myradio.com featuring... robert johnson, bb king, jimi hendrix, lightnin hopkins, keb' mo' elmore james, eric clapton, the doors, john lee hooker etc....

so feel free to tune in if you can... and always... let me know on the message board you are listening thank you.

added a new program to my stint on village fm right after the blues we now have danny's alternative show... playing the classic sounds of david bowie, the clash, the who, goldfrapp, prince and joy division..... etc...

I've listend in the past few weeks and the choice of tunes has been sound! Great to hear someone play music who really loves it... not to mention the fascinating stories & facts around the songs/artists too.

thank you dasmf, most folk say they can hear it coming through on air.. that i am really enjoying what i'm doing... so your not alone with that lovely comment. its a great opportunity for me at village fm as it isnt every day a brand new presenter with no previous experience is allowed a free reign to play his OWN RECORD COLLECTION ON THE WORLD WIDE WEB!! a listener derek grant in nottingham england, a big blues fan who has met jimi hendrix and saw john mayalls bluesbreakers , hendrix, cream, etc during the english blues boom in the 1960's also emailed to say my glasgow accent fitted my blues program perfectly... another lovely comment!

my first hours usually ok , a little nervous lol... then in the second hour i'm flying...

just need some more blues fans to tune in , come blues/orgers email the show let me know your listening and i'll give you a shout out... on danny's blues selection on www.villagefm.listen2myradio.com
