Well your still a member and I am glad. Do you have any more poems to share?

The sky is blue,

The days are warm,

The sun shines overhead;

The nights are cool,

The air is crisp

When I crawl into bed.

The leaves once green,

Are red and orange,

And some, a brown or gold.

Autumn is here.

Oh! What a sight

For my eyes to behold!

I love fall. cloud9

Nice poem.

Yes....all the blazing colors. Its kinda a trip to think that the beautiful leaves changing is actually a reflection or representation of them dying blown away to b no more. Interesting the way God works sometimes. Anyway a beautiful season none the less that our eyes get to grace yet again for another season.

This reminded me of a poem I wrote and lost about a red maple leaf. I wonder if I can write it again.

October is a wonderful period
It is like the heart of the season
I love how it shows us so many
Warm autumn tones & colors
Like a beautiful face with make up
In classic colors ..
Whisper white
Mars red
Rosewood
Sunflower
Zinfandel
& pearl shades

What a look October has !
I always feel it belongs to me ..
Many may have that feeling too..
