Before the start of the summer sessions at the institute, The DownLoad Society is planning a party this friday @ The Mansion, celebrating a Minneapolian Summer.

Due to all the stars being born

A variety of stripes will be worn

The festivities began last night with the arrival of ALMA DESNUDA to the mansion.

"Rooms"

I saw this guy perform the other night in St. Paul. It was just him and his guitar up on stage.

His guitar playing wasn't the best to say the least, but when he played you could feel what he was playing. When he first started you could see people get up and walk out, they did give him a chance.

I have to admit, even i was like who is this dude? Then he opened up his mouth and started singing. It was so beautiful. His lyrics were so heart felt and his voice was so full of emotions. I haven't seen anything like this in a long time. Not since William Ryan George at Satalite Bar, when he made everyone cry, back in New York.

Once the guy started singing i couldn't take my eyes of him. His expressions on his face were as if here were saying these things to a lover for the first time. He was so uncomfortable, with himself and the situation. But he didn't stop. Each song was a testiment to the spirit of this guy, his soul was so bare and out in the open for everyone to see. I must admit i cried during a couple of his songs. "Rooms" and "On Holloween" were so touching. He even sang a song to his great grandchildren, which whom he said he would never meet. He said he wrote the song for them so at somepoint in their live they would know that he though of them. It was such a beautiful song.

After he finished his set, i looked around for him but couldn't find him. I wanted to meet him.

I checked out the next band and hung around with friends. Then out of the blue i seen him sitting at a table with these girls, i didn't want to disturb his thing so i waited for him to go to the bar and he did and that's when i made my way to him. I couldn't believe i was nervous to say hi. As he walked towards me i said to him. Excuse me may i buy one of your cd's and his reaction was so geninue. He was surprised. He asked me what my name was and i told him and he told me his name, Issac. He thank me for liking his music and took me over to where his table was and searched through his bag and found a cd. I have him 5 dollars (my last) and told him i was definately a fan. He was really shy and really nice.

He reminded me that Rock and Roll and that there are musician out there who were truely artist and do it because they just have to.

I haven't stopped listening to their cd.

Ten-Speed is now my favorite band during, this...

Since you seemed to have a hard time keeping your eyes open, try this on for size.

1. 8 different scenes- showing two different kinds of elements. Those elements being line, shape, form, color, texture, value, space, and motion. These scenes are to be 10 seconds long each, no shorter, no longer. These scene are to be "no motion in the frame (yet different than a "still image").

That is 8 different scenes at 10 seconds in time show casing two of the different kinds of elements.

you can have a third or a fourth element, but the must not be within the focus.

2. write out a script in industry standard, 10 pages long. Then story board it, also using industry standards.

tomorrow i am going to throw some psychology on you.

DreamFirstBorn, Jew was casted in a film being shot in Minneapolis this summer call "The August Incident." He has a small part which he will be shooting this weekend.

Also I over heard ANDROGYNINE talking about an interview that will be taking place, that will be conducted by someone from the org. Not sure what it's all about.

Just got back from Hidden Beach, found this....

when the mansion is quiet, it makes me wonder.

ANDROGYNINE was a bit upset in regards to two scheduled shoots for the weekend being cancelled, but things have been worked out and rescheduled. He is one for getting the job done, no excuses. In the mean time, here is a show called "Art Attack" which was put together by the students at The Art Institutes International in Minneapolis, that has me on as a guest.

These are the first 8 of what you asked for.

They haven't been properly color corrected. I got side tracked yesterday. ymA devol i.

I have 8 more that need to be formatted.

The script is finished, but i will hand it you to just, because i don't want to post it yet because i am planning on shooting it.
